I've collected over 600 books relating to rheumatoid arthritis and healthIn this post I want to explain in more detail what led me to the design of a diet which eliminated all the symptoms of my RA effectively ‘curing’ it (as long as I stuck to the diet).

I have read hundreds of books relating to RA and thousands of articles and papers over the years. This is how in my case, I separated fact from fiction, followed clues, uncovered and tested the evidence in a massive effort to find the true cause(s) of my RA.

I tried two main approaches over a 28 period; I consulted various medical specialists, had lots of tests, and studied a huge amount of research material including alternative and complementary treatments & therapies.  Read more . . .

It's hard to know which rheumatoid arthritis diet to followThe problem with many of the recommended ‘cures’, diets and therapies for rheumatoid arthritis is that they are too complicated or too expensive. They often contradict each other, or worse still; they never get to the point! Also, there’s often a hidden agenda.

In the real world, when people are working, dealing with children, and with a thousand other demands on their time; any attempt to deal with their RA has to be simple and focused, if it is to have any chance of succeeding.  Read more . . .

Rheumatoid Arthritis – More Like a Set of Symptoms Than a Disease

Treat the cause of rheumatoid arthritis not just the symptomsI believe the illness caused by rheumatoid arthritis is more like an allergy or the effects of a poison. For example, if a person is allergic to peanuts a doctor will recommend ‘not eating peanuts’, the doctor will not say “Continue eating peanuts and take these drugs to counteract the effects.” In this case the cause is well known, so the solution is to remove the cause; the peanuts.

In my own experience, rheumatoid arthritis behaves the same way. When I eat certain foods my body reacts badly, obviously I’ve upset it and it’s trying to repair the damage or imbalance that I’ve caused by introducing some sort of poisonous or disagreeable foods into my body.
