Copyright and Other Legal Stuff – Arthritis Cure
I just want to clarify a few things here regarding copyright and so on, and I will add more information as the need arises.
I’m Not a Doctor and I’m Not Attempting to Provide Any Medical Advice
I’m writing this blog with the genuine intention of helping fellow rheumatoid arthritis sufferers and sufferers of other chronic diseases. I’m doing this by reporting my own experiences and those of people I’ve communicated with or researched; by giving my opinions based on decades of nutritional and RA research and experience; by signposting people to reliable resources; and by suggesting ideas and lines of enquiry that fellow RA sufferers might like to follow, the value of which they should confirm by doing their own research.
Readers of my blog should consult with their own healthcare provider before making any changes to their diet, lifestyle, medication or other treatment. My job is to present information, research and ideas and hopefully provide hope and inspiration. I do not provide any form of medical advice either directly or implied.
Everything I write in this blog is my own personal opinion unless I specifically quote another person, or provide a quote from a piece of research.
However, I have suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and asthma for nearly four decades and I have studied health, nutrition, RA and other chronic diseases continuously throughout this period. I have owned and read over six hundred books on these subjects, I have researched and studied in public libraries and university libraries, and over the last twenty years or so I have researched and studied via the web. I have read and understood hundreds of scientific research papers, and I have read hundreds of historical PDF-based books following the progress of rheumatoid arthritis research and treatment.
I have intimate and painful knowledge of the impact of rheumatoid arthritis on a person and those around them. I’m acutely aware of what it means to have rheumatoid arthritis, I’m familiar with the majority of treatments both mainstream and alternative along with their many many drawbacks and serious side-effects, and very few if any long-term benefits in my opinion.
Copyright
All my own posts are available for use copyright free, no restrictions, no attribution required (of course, if you are feeling generous, a mention or a link back would be most welcome and very much appreciated).
This includes everything on my blog except third party content such as images from Flickr etc., which will be marked as such.
My Anti-Rheumatoid Arthritis Diet
My whole food plant-based diet and any other material derived from my own research, experimentation and experience is made available free of charge and copyright free (as above). This includes any further developments, information, news, tips or any other useful item I publish that may be of help to anyone suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, or anyone caring for or supporting a sufferer.
Accuracy
I am still researching, experimenting, learning and trying to find a permanent cure for my RA. My whole food plant-based diet provides a health promoting base for me and has removed most of the foods and food components that used to trigger my rheumatoid arthritis symptoms. I am now working on removing any further food intolerances and triggers and improving the health promoting aspects of my overall lifestyle. When I write my posts and provide links and other information, I always think carefully to make sure my own views are accurate and that the material that I point to or quote from is accurate and truthful.
Can I eat apples, pears and oranges as well as bananas.
Where can I find a recipe for sourdough brown bread, do you have one listed?
I admire you. I have no idea how old you are but I am now 70, having chronic knee and hip pain and the rest of the story as you know with doctors. They have not said RA yet, as yet ??. My knees are altering shape and hurt like hell. Anyway I am going to use your diet because “nothing” else works. I, like you will not take medication except my own aspirin and otc pain killers but in moderation. My husband says you cannot be married and eat, write and study this way. lol. I said, Lucky man if he’s not!! Take care my friend. Hope to hear from you soon. Jasmine. PS. I moved to the US 18 years ago from England/ Scotland and I left my good health behind. :-(
I’m so sorry to hear about your knee and hip pain. If your fingers and toes are ok it’s probably not RA as such but whatever it is, it could as you say, be related to your diet. I would try pears and bananas first for a while. 100% Whole Grain Sourdough Rye Bread.
Thanks for trying my diet I hope it works for you. Yes I’m married and I’m lucky :-)
You take care too and let me know how you get on. Yes, it’s probably easier to avoid GM foods in the UK than in the US at least. :-)
